Answered Prayers

This Page will be a testimony to God’s goodness and faithfulness!

Answer 1
I had two or three interpreters lined up and all of a sudden not a single one was available! God provided Dera (Shon DERANIRINA). He completed his DTS at YWAM recently!

Dera, our Translator for the Antambolo outreach

Thank you Father for being faithful.

Our daughter, Anya has a South African father and a Malagasy mother. According to Malagasy law the child in a case like this does not automatically get Malagasy citizenship. You have to apply for it!
Imagine our consternation when we found this out when trying to apply for a passport for her early in February. This started another horrible adventure in the dark offices of Bureaucracy!
BUT a mere 6 weeks later all paper work has been completed and Anya has her own passport! This is really very quick if you take into account that poor Mr. T, also a South African father, has been battling more than six months to get his second daughter registered!
Anya and Mommy!
Thank you Lord! At times it felt as if we are never going to make it! But your faithfulness is steadfast. Your mercies new every morning.

The fact that you only see so few answers to prayer here reflects in no way on God, but on my laziness! This blog has been dormant for a long time! Maybe I will start posting again!

  1. Hi Jandre and Madame Roux,
Sorry it has been a long while since I had contact with you via email… Loved your wedding photos and the honeymoon pics at St Marie. What have you been doing since April? I have been caring for my parents since I came home from Malawi in July 2009. Still haven’t found part-time work in a hospital lab yet. God knows the plans for me so I rest in His perfect plan. I keep busy at home and in the vege garden. We have had heaps of rain in the last month so everything is looking clean and beautiful. Spring flowers are in full bloom and the jacarandas are blooming early this year. I guess the avenues around Tana are pretty too. Bye for now, God bless you, with kind regards, Annie
